Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum
Located in the Yesil (Sultaniye) Madrasa, built in 1419 by Celebi Sultan Mehmed, this historical structure once served as an important educational center in Bursa. It has functioned as the Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum since 1975.
During the 2017–2019 restoration, Iznik Mavi Cini produced 900 early Ottoman ceramics—in square, triangular, and butterfly forms—using red clay and single-color glaze techniques. The tiles were authentically integrated into the building’s stone walls, preserving its historical integrity.
