Rustem Pasha Mosque
Built by Mimar Sinan for Rustem Pasha, son-in-law of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, this mosque is one of the finest examples of Ottoman tile art, with every surface covered in Iznik tiles.
In 2020, Iznik Mavi Cini produced 133 Iznik tiles for the mosque’s outer walls, faithfully replicating the 16th-century originals.
