Mahmut Pasha Tomb
Built in 1474 by Grand Vizier Mahmut Pasha, this complex in Eminonu once included a mosque, tomb, baths, madrasa, inn, soup kitchen, and elementary school.
During the 2021 restoration, Iznik Mavi Cini produced 3,548 Seljuk-style tiles in 25 different forms and colors (turquoise, manganese purple, and cobalt blue), staying true to historical methods.
